Jeff Lubin has been the leading portrait photographer in the Washington DC area for over 30 years. His work has been featured in The Galleria at Tysons II since 1989. He has a client list that includes actress Lynda Carter, sport stars Ryan Zimmerman, Doc Walker, Cal Ripken and Sheila Johnson. His portraits are featured in thousands of homes in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Jeff’s sensitive and unique style has won him many national and state awards. He earned the coveted Master of Photography Degree from the Professional Photographers of America in 1992, after only three years of competition. The following year, Jeff received the Craftsman Degree from the Professional Photographers of America, as well. Also in 1992, for the second time in his career, Jeff won the Grand Photographic Award from the Virginia Professional Photographers Association, indicating him as the top photographer in Virginia. He has twice been named Portrait Photographer of the Year by the Maryland Professional Photographers, once in 1989 and again in 1990.
Jeff has produced books on the business of children’s and bridal portraiture, and has published over 50 articles in professional photography magazines. He has also been a contributing artist for the Professional Photographers of America’s monthly publication, and his portraits have appeared on the covers of Rangefinder Magazine and The Professional Photographer.
Jeff’s name and photographs have gone all over the world. He has been a keynote speaker at many national and state conventions, lectured throughout the United States and in Taiwan, China, Thailand, Korea, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Australia, Mexico, and the Philippines.
Jeff believes in giving back, having raised over $165,000 for the Lombardi Cancer Center to fight children’s cancer. He has also contributed much more in the form of donations to many area wide associations over his thirty years as an artist.
His style has been one of the most emulated in the photography industry over the last quarter century.
